Meet our Clinical Dietitians

Gina Bogart, RD, LD

Gina joined Patient Care America from Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade, FL, where she served as Lead Dietitian and provided total nutrition support for enteral and parenteral patients, educated CKD patients on following a kidney-friendly diet, taught general nutrition classes, and managed the clinical nutrition team. Gina has also served as a Clinical Dietitian for hospitals in Southern Indiana, as a Metabolic Support Dietitian for a hospital in Louisville, KY, and as a Consulting Dietitian for a long-term care facility also in KY. Gina received her Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics from the University of Central Missouri State and is a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian in the state of Florida, and a member of the American Dietetic Association and the Florida Dietetic Association. She’s been married to her best friend for 8+ years and has 2 dogs, Stella and Eva, and one cat, Mr. Pickles. Gina loves staying active, going to the beach weekly, traveling, and adventures of all kinds.

Christine Coro, RD, LD

Christine joined Patient Care America from DaVita where she worked as a Renal Dietitian for 6 years being a part of the Intradisciplinary Team.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Florida International University in Miami, Florida and shortly after graduating she spent 3 years in Japan where she worked for Women and Children at the Kadena Airforce base. Once she returned home to South Florida, she worked in Long Term Care where she oversaw the dietary department, created weekly menus, provided nutrition support for enteral and parental patients; as well as provided nutritional evaluation to a wide variety of chronic and acute diseases. It was then when she had the opportunity to pursue her dream and become a Renal Dietitian.

Mita Patel, MS, RDN

Mita joins Patient Care America with extensive critical care experience. She was most recently a Clinical Dietitian for Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT, where she was responsible for providing nutrition care on CT Surgery ICU/step down and cardiology units, as well as cross covering for CCU, SICU, MICU, Trauma ICU, geriatrics, general surgery and transplant units. She also served as a Clinical Dietitian at The Westerly Hospital in Westerly, Rhode Island, and did her Dietetics Internship at SUNY at Buffalo in New York, where she became experienced in acute care nutritional management at Erie County Medical Center and long-term care promoting weight maintenance and skin integrity for patients at Elderwood Senior Care. Mita holds her Bachelor’s of Science in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Connecticut and her Master’s of Science in Clinical Nutrition from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York.
